Montgomery County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or obtain an official booking record for you. Contact the government office that created or holds the record.
Official Records and Custody Contacts
MCSO’s published routing is specific. The Jail confirms or denies present custody, while the Sheriff’s Office answers questions about release times, bond amounts, charges, and court dates. Historical proof may require the printed open-records form, valid identification, and the stated $5 report charge. Confirm submission details and any added cost before requesting a release sheet or photograph.

- For state parole or local felony probation, use Post-Release Supervision. Adult Community Corrections is at 300 E. Main Street, basement, Independence, 620-331-4474, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The Coffeyville Parole Office is at 102 W. 7th Street, Suite 309, Coffeyville, 620-625-7925.
- For a recent county departure, use 24-Hour Releases, which explains the phone, VINE, court, and records fallback because MCSO has no official release feed.
- For a forecast date or custody alert, use Release Date Lookup or the VINE Inmate Check. Kansas VINE’s official brochure number is 1-866-574-8463.
- For jail facility details, use the Montgomery County Jail / Department of Corrections page.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use KASPER. Corrections to its public data may be sent to kdoc_pub@ks.gov. KDOC Victim Services is available at 1-866-404-6732 or VictimWitness@doc.ks.gov.
- For federal custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator or USMS District of Kansas. For an immigration transfer, use ICE ODLS; a locator miss does not confirm release.
