Nature of the Service

Montgomery County Released Inmates is an independent reference site. It does not work for or represent a sheriff, court, jail, corrections department, parole office, or records custodian. No official inmate, court, release, or supervision record is stored here. Site operators cannot confirm whether a person is in custody, authorize a release, alter a public record, file a request on a visitor's behalf, or provide an official case response.

The site directs visitors to Montgomery County and Kansas public resources and may connect them with outside research or search tools. Any result must be checked with the office that created the underlying record.

Acceptable Use Rules

Access is offered only for lawful, responsible use. By using the site, you agree that you will not:

• Violate a federal, Kansas, local, or other applicable law.
• Use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass anyone.
• Make employment, housing, lending, insurance, or other regulated eligibility decisions from site content.
• Enter accounts, systems, data, or restricted areas without authorization.
• Operate automated bots, crawlers, scrapers, or bulk collection tools against the site.
• Interfere with site operation or prevent other visitors from using it.

No Consumer Reports

Montgomery County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare or sell background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use information found here for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, reassignment, or another employment decision.
• Tenant selection, lease approval, or another housing decision.
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance rates and eligibility.
• Licensing, permits, public benefits, or government-program eligibility.
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Outside Websites and Tools

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections pages, public release records, court portals, legal-aid resources, or third-party search services. Those destinations are operated independently. Montgomery County Released Inmates does not endorse or control their content, availability, security, privacy practices, fees, results, or data handling. Review the privacy policy and terms supplied by each outside operator before using its service.

Service Provided As Is

The site, its links, and all displayed material are supplied “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, no express or implied warranty is made concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current state of any information.
• Continuous or uninterrupted access to the site.
• The absence of errors, defects, harmful code, or security weaknesses.
• The scope, completeness, or usefulness of results from a partner tool.

Custody status, court records, supervision information, and release data can change without notice. Nothing published here is an official statement by MCSO, Montgomery County, KDOC, or another government office.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Montgomery County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, contributors, and partners will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from access to the site, inability to use it, reliance on its content, use of an outside link, or use of a third-party result. This limitation applies even if the possibility of such harm was known.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Montgomery County Released Inmates, its owners, operators, contributors, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your site use, your misuse of information, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

Ownership and Permissions

Original text, graphics, logos, page design, and code on Montgomery County Released Inmates belong to the site or the content partner that licensed them. Government records and third-party materials remain subject to their own rights and rules. Unless written permission is given, you may not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from protected site material.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute concerning the site or these terms must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kansas.

Severability of Terms

If a court finds one provision invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be narrowed or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable. Every remaining provision will continue in full force.
